Pam Cardillo Lamagna

Updated, December, 2013: I have been working at the family business now for almost 3 years. I am the Quality Control Coordinator at Lamagna Cheese Co. I am sure you will all agree that our cheeses are the best! I have also remained active in Hampton schools for the past 20 years. I am in my second 4-year term as a School Board Director. This opportunity has provided me with an additional perspective and a new appreciation for our outstanding school district. My daughter Maria graduated from Penn State in May and moved to Houston, TX in June where she is chemical engineer at Chevron. She loves her job and Houston, and although we miss her dearly, we are so happy she is earning a paycheck! Michael is following the family tradition and is enjoying Happy Valley as a junior studying Accounting! He loves to golf and after only a couple years of playing, already provides Rudy with some stiff competition! Rudy and I are adjusting to our empty nest. I am looking forward to a trip to California in January to visit my niece Lizzie (my brother Vince's daughter) and also to catch up with my dear friend and sister - the other Pam. Happy New Year to All!

As far as high school memories, I remember: taking 2 lunches when we had 5th period with Mr. Panion (Chemistry) - he never seemed to mind; Mr. Shoemaker making kids cry all the time in his class; when Mrs. Kenneweg nudged 2 terrified girls off the diving board even though they couldn't swim; I remember Mr. King could memorize all his students' names by the end of the first class. And I also remember the sit-in to retain our Senior priveledges and the resulting suspension - we all went to North Park. What can I say - although I have made many new friends in the last 30+ years through work, school, sports, etc., my true best friends are from the class of 76. We still get together when we can and although sometimes months pass (or even a year or 2), we are connected like family.
