Mark Mannella

Mark Mannella, age 57, of Winter Garden, Florida beloved husband of Cindy Mannella, humble servant and mighty man of God, went to be with his Everlasting Father on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at his residence. Mark was a native of Pittsburgh, Penn. He recently retired from Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, where he was the director of International and New Business Compensation and recently retired after 35 years. Mark was a key contributor to the opening of all of Disney’s International Theme Parks; Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo and most recently Shanghai Disney Resort. Mark was an active member of the board of directors for the Roper YMCA for the past six years and supported the YMCA for 24 years. He most recently served on the Capital Visioning committee mapping the future of the Roper YMCA and the West Orange Community. He enjoyed playing soccer on Sundays with Roper YMCA families and friends. He was a Clemson Alumni where he was a guest professor of International Business. In his free time he was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mark is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Cindy) Mannella, two children, Giovanni Mannella & Marissa Mannella; parents Robert & Rita Mannella; brother David & Ann Mannella; niece and nephew Lauren & Christopher Mannella ; sister-in-law Deb & Tim Harrington; nephew Brett & Elizabeth Holmes; niece Maggie & Eric Childs; brother-in-law Bill & Karen Holmes; niece and nephew Lauren & Parker Holmes. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, at Discovery Church South West, 4064 Winter Garden Vineland Rd, Winter Garden. A reception will be held immediately following the services at 2:30 p.m. at the Roper Garden Ballroom, 146 W. Plant St, Suite 201, Winter Garden.
